The Bristol Ensemble comes to Weston to perform Mozart and his most recently discovered music...

The Mozart by Candlelight programme included works written by Mozart when he was just a child and concluded with one of his most loved works, the Clarinet Concerto in A Major, performed by the renowned soloist, David Pagett.

Of particular interest was the premier performance in the Southwest, of the newly discovered Ganz Kleine Nachtmusik, which is now attributed to Mozart after lying undiscovered in Leipzig's music library. The manuscript was believed not to be an original manuscript written by Mozart, but a copy produced in 1780. Its world premiere of the rediscovered piece was only first played for a modern audience in Salzburg, Austria, on the 19th September 2024!

Valley Fest 2024

The 2024 Valley Fest took place over the weekend of
1st – 4th August 2024.

Held in the Chew valley, this is like a mini Glastonbury, with better scenery, being sited on the banks of the Chew valley reservoir.

The weather was perfect, and the music great.
